Community Guidelines
Elarislove is a place for adults to build genuine connections. These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) set expectations for behavior on our platform. They apply to profiles, photos, messages, and any other content or activity on the Services.
The Guidelines work together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Breaking them may result in content removal, warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination. We may also report illegal activity to law enforcement where appropriate.
1. Adults only (18+)
You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live, if higher). Profiles, photos, and messages must not sexualize, groom, or solicit minors. We take child safety seriously and may report credible threats to authorities.
Do not ask other users for their age in a way designed to evade our rules or to contact people off-platform who may be underage.
2. Authenticity
- Use photos that clearly show you, taken in the last few years where possible.
- Do not use heavy filters or edits that materially mislead others about your appearance in a deceptive way.
- No catfishing: do not impersonate another person, celebrity, or organization.
- No “pig butchering,” investment scams, or fake personas designed to extract money or data.
- Do not operate multiple accounts to harass, evade blocks, or manipulate the experience.
3. Respect and consent
- Treat everyone with dignity. No harassment, bullying, intimidation, or coercion.
- No unwanted sexual content or graphic language sent to someone who has not welcomed it.
- No hate speech, slurs, or content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, disease, body type, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics under applicable law.
- Respect boundaries: if someone asks you to stop, stop.
4. Violence, self-harm, and illegal activity
- Do not threaten violence toward any person or group.
- Do not encourage suicide or self-harm. If you or someone else is in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline immediately.
- Do not use the Services to buy or sell illegal drugs, counterfeit goods, stolen property, or illegal services.
- Do not use the Services to arrange human trafficking, exploitation, or prostitution.
- Do not share instructions for weapons, explosives, or other serious crimes.
5. Sexual content and nudity
Public profile photos must comply with our photo standards: no full nudity, no pornography, and no sexual acts. Do not post explicit images in profile galleries intended for general discovery.
Do not share intimate images of another person without their freely given consent (non-consensual intimate imagery is prohibited and may be illegal). Do not request nude images from someone you just met if they have not clearly welcomed that conversation.
6. Privacy and doxxing
- Do not share another person’s private information (home address, workplace, phone number, financial details, passwords) without permission.
- Do not use the Services to stalk or monitor someone outside the platform.
- Protect your own privacy: be cautious about moving conversations to other apps too quickly.
7. Financial safety
- Never send money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or bank transfers to someone you only know through the app, especially for “emergencies,” “investments,” or shipping fees.
- Watch for common scams: fake military deployment stories, oil-rig workers who need loans, crypto “experts,” and fake verification fees.
- Report users who push you to communicate only on encrypted apps early on, who refuse video calls when appropriate, or who ask for personally identifiable documents.
8. Spam and platform integrity
- No unsolicited commercial messages, multi-level marketing, or bulk identical messages to many users.
- No links or QR codes primarily designed to harvest credentials or install malware.
- Do not manipulate discovery, ratings, or reporting systems.
- Do not scrape or bulk-download member data.
9. Intellectual property
Only upload content you have the right to use. Do not post copyrighted music, movies, or images you do not own or license.
10. Alcohol, cannabis, and regulated products
Discussion of legal social drinking may be acceptable in context, but do not promote excessive substance use, illegal drugs, or sales of regulated products in violation of law. Do not target vulnerable users with substance-related content.
11. Reporting, blocking, and law enforcement
Use in-app Report and Block tools. Include screenshots or message context when helpful. For imminent danger, call local emergency services first.
You may also email info@elarislove.com with the subject line “Safety report,” including relevant usernames, approximate dates, and a description of the issue.
We may preserve and disclose information when required by law or to protect safety.
12. Enforcement and appeals
We may use automated systems and human review. Actions may be taken based on severity, repetition, and risk. False reports may result in action against the reporting account.
If you believe we made a mistake, you may appeal by emailing info@elarislove.com with your account email and a clear explanation. We cannot guarantee reinstatement.
13. International members
Laws and cultural norms differ. You are responsible for complying with the laws in your country. We may adjust enforcement or features to meet local legal requirements.
14. Updates
We may update these Guidelines as our product and safety practices evolve. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines, except where additional consent is required.
